Harold Uhlin was in his late 40's when he realized his passion for Rock Hunting & Gemstones.  His rock shop & jewelry store was attached to his house in Scarsdale, NY and was filled with the most beautiful mineral specimens, stones, beads, crystals & cabochons that nature created.  Aspiring Jewelers, Students & Collectors would come from near and far to buy supplies or finished jewelry and talk for hours... gathering all the information and wisdom they could from Harold.  He would often pack up his VW Camper and head out along the East Coast to mine for rocks, stones & crystals.  

His Legacy and love for the craft lives on in his daughter, Susan Geier and his granddaughter, Laura Alvarez.
